We use Cliniko to manage bookings, reminders, and patient records.

Online booking services may not always be available, and uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Online bookings do not guarantee treatment until clinically assessed.
b. Appointment Reminders

You may opt out at any time; however, this may increase the risk of missed appointments.

We are not responsible for booking errors due to system outages, internet issues, or incorrect information entered.
8. Cancellation and Missed Appointments
We understand that circumstances can arise that may affect your ability to attend an appointment, and we will accommodate rescheduling where appropriate notice is provided.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made on the same day as the appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the consultation fee.

Missed appointments or failure to attend (no-shows) will incur a fee of 100% of the consultation fee.

Repeated non-attendance may result in restricted access to future bookings.
9. Fees and Payments

Fees are provided prior to, or at the time of, booking.

Payment is required at the time of consultation.

Medicare or private health rebates depend on individual eligibility and are not guaranteed. Where rebates apply, patients are required to pay the remaining balance on the day of consultation.

Where rebates cannot be processed due to technical issues or downtime of TYRO Health terminals or health fund systems, full payment is required on the day of consultation. Patients will then need to claim rebates directly through their health fund or Medicare.
10. Informed Consent
By attending an appointment, you acknowledge:

You will be provided with information about proposed treatments, including expected benefits, potential risks, and available alternatives.

You may ask questions and withdraw your consent at any time.

Treatment may involve manual therapy techniques, and relevant risks will be explained where appropriate.

As part of the New Patient form, you will be asked to read and sign an informed consent statement. Signing indicates that you understand and consent to proceed; however, you may withdraw your consent at any time.

For patients under 16 years of age, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian, unless the practitioner determines that the patient has sufficient capacity to provide informed consent.
